多年吃SUBWAY的经验，沙拉酱

靠记忆给你梳理一下，可能有记得不准确的地方：

S: What kind of bread? （哪种面包）

全长的footlong就是一个大的，6inch一个小的

一般有 White:普通白面包 Wheat:全麦 HoneyOat：蜂蜜燕麦 ItalianHerbs&Cheese:意大利香料奶酪面包 Flatbread：方片面包

个人首选 意大利香料奶酪面包，其次蜂蜜燕麦

S：What kind of sub?（哪种夹在里面的东西）

单点的话：

Chicken Breast 鸡胸肉，这种一般是薄片的那种，没有味道

Turkey 火鸡肠片

Roasted Beef：烤牛肉

Tuna：金枪鱼 推荐

Meatball：意大利肉丸子

Roasted Chicken 大厚片鸡肉

Bacon 培根

Salami 粉红色意大利香肠

Pepperoni 深红色意大利香肠

Ham 火腿

Vegi 素食的豆腐做的一种shit非常难吃

组合的话：

一般常见的

spicy italian 是salami + pepperoni

italian bmt 是salami + pepperoni + ham

subway club 是ham+turkey+beef貌似忘了

chicken bacon ranch是碎鸡胸肉加培根

tariyaki chicken照沙拉酱烧酱碎鸡胸肉

我个人首选tuna，换口味的话吃bmt

S：What kind of cheese? 哪种奶酪

American 三角的白色的，没什么味道

Provolone 半圆的白色的，也没什么味道

Cheddar 碎的红色黄色的，有点味道

我一般直接no cheese吃不出味道还长肉，特别不值

S：Toasted?（要不要烤一下？）

YES/NO

S：Vegi？（蔬菜？）

Lettuce 生菜

Tomato 西红柿

Spinach 小菠菜叶

cucumber 黄瓜

green pepper青椒

onion 洋葱

olives橄榄

jalapeno 墨西哥绿辣椒

banana peppers黄辣椒

pickle酸黄瓜

我一般 生菜+西红柿+菠菜+洋葱+jalapeno

jalapeno比较辣，

不喜欢辣的绕过

S：Sauce?（酱？）

mayo 蛋黄酱 （神酱，但是巨肥）

light mayo 淡蛋黄酱

ranch这个。。。ranch酱

mustard 黄芥末

sweet onion洋葱酱甜的好像，吃过一次

buffalo 红的酸辣口

然后是我的神搭配：

honey mustard + chipotle 蜜汁芥末+西南酱

强烈推荐

此外你还可以要求加

salt pepper椒盐

wine vinegar红酒醋

vinegar白醋

沙拉酱现在回想起来，留学的时候如果没有subway我可能会扑街几百次了已经。

Going to Subway is a great way to practice your English!

The easiest way to order at Subway is to pick a sub from the pictures on the wall and ask the sandwich artist (yes, thats what theyre called) to give you recommendations based on which kind of sub you want.

for example:

"I want a 6-inch no. 1 sub (or simply point to it), please make it just like that picture."

If you want to customize your sub, you normally need to go through every step.

Type of Sub

The protein is the main part of the sub, and it usually depends on the type of sub you selected.

You also tell the sandwich artist (SA) what size of sub you want (6-inch or footlong).

For example, if you say, "I want a 6-inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub," you will get teriyaki chicken on your sub.

Here are some types of meat/protein you can usually get:

Bread

You need to order the type of the bread you want. The typical way of saying that is:

"I want it on Italian herbs and cheese." (This is my favourite bread!)

Heres a list of some the types of bread they have:

honey oat ("the sweet healthy one")Italian ("the white one")Italian herbs and cheese ("the cheesy one")whole grain ("the healthy one")flatbread ("the square one")

Normally people put the type of sub, size, and type of bread together by saying,

"I want a footlong Meatball Marinara sub on honey oat."

Cheese

When the SA asks what kind of cheese you want, you can just say the name of the cheese.

Popular types of cheese at Subway:

White American ("the white one")Monterrey pepper Jack ("the spicy one")cheddar ("the orange one")Swiss ("the one with holes in it")

If you cant remember the names of the cheese, you can ask for white or orange cheese.

They will know you dont know the name of the cheese and just give you the one they think is best.

Toasted or not

After adding the cheese and meat, the SA will ask whether you want your sub toasted.

You can say say yes or no.

I always get it toasted.

Veggies

LettuceTomatoesCucumbersGreen peppersRed onionsBanana peppersOlivesPicklesJalapenos peppers (spicy) (this is Spanish, if you dont know how to pronounce, just say "hal-a-pee-nos" or "the spicy peppers")

You can tell them what you want all at once, but sometimes they forget, so it might be easier to say each thing one at a time.

Or if youre not picky, you can say, "All the veggies, please." (Be careful with the spicy veggies though.)

Sauce

After you have all the veggies you want, the SA might say, "Is that everything?"

DO NOT BE FOOLED!!!

They dont mean, "Are those all the veggies you want?"

They mean "Do you want anything else on your sub?"

If you want sauce, say, "I want sub sauce (for example)."

There are normal and light (these have less fat) sauces.

Here are some popular sauces:

light or regular mayonnaise ("the white creamy one")sub sauce ("the secret one")ranch ("the white creamy one with bits of stuff in it")chipotle southwest ("the spicy one")

Fat-free sauces:

sweet onion sauce ("the clear one with bits of stuff in it")mustard/honey mustard ("the yellow one")vinegar ("the clear one")

Toppings

This is the last step of making the sandwich, and its the easiest. Just tell the SA whether you want salt or pepper. I usually dont get any toppings.

**the SA wraps your sub***

At the cash register

They will ask you whether you want a combo (drink and soup/chips/cookie). Get whatever you want.

I dont recommend the soup (it probably sits there all day).

For drinks, normally you just say what size you want and fill it up yourself.

My favourite cookie is chocolate chip.

Finally, you can pay for your delicious masterpiece! Yum yum!

Such a long journey! You worked so hard for that sandwich!
