直面调皮的小孩，爸爸时常会连蒙带唬地说许多话，在小孩们听来，爸爸的“字面上”原意，却有另几层涵义，比如说：

My mother taught me TO APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE "If you two are going to kill each other, do it outside - I just finished cleaning!"

My mother taught me RELIGION "You better pray that stain will come out of the carpet."

My mother taught me about TIME TRAVEL "If you dont behave, Im going to knock you into the middle of next week!" （爸爸这是在严重威胁说，你就算不乐意，就要把你敲击到下周一去。也是说，会始终敲击你。这是简而言之的time travel“天数旅途”）

My mother taught me LOGIC "Because I said so, thats why." （即使那是我说的，这是其原因。喏，这不是无赖方法论吗？）

My mother taught me about behavior MODIFICATION "Stop acting like your father!"

My mother taught me about ENVY "There are millions of less fortunate children in this world who dont have wonderful parents like you do!"
